And what did you think? I had a great time and managed to cram a lot into nearly 3 days....

Favourite bands were

Nube 9, Ringer, The Prellies, The Repeatles, Bob Bartey and The Silverbeats although admittedly I spent a lot of time not watching bands so could well have missed some gems!

And since I left on Sunday I missed the Overtures altogether... :(

it was a great week hough quiet too (I suppose the cancellation of Matthew St Festival put pople off) but was a great show I'll give you my review

Friday
Arrived and went to the Student Accomodation across from The Adelphi. We had friends coming to Liverpool but not doing The Beatle Week package so they had to pay in The Cavern etc. The evening went to the Academy for the evening show first off Ringer a great band that did Run Devil Run stuff, then The Beat Brothers, Rocks Off & God Save The Queen. After the show headed back to my room decided to have an early night.

Saturday

After getting dressed headed down to get some breakfast and as soon as I left the door I heard someone shout my name it was Marcus Cahill a friend of mine who does a John Lennon Show chatted for 10 mins and had some breakfast. During the day explored Albert Dock met up with our friends and went to a Slave Museum.Bought a Beatles Tshirt In the evening saw Rain The Beatles Expereience at The Empire a brilliant show. After changing in my room headed to the Adelphi and met uo with our friends and watched a few bands and had a few drinks.

Sunday

It's Convention Day

Didn't buy a huge amount a binder for my Beatles Fan Club Mags and a Sgt Pepper Anniversary Tshirt. Headed to a bar were US Musician Jan Owen was performing and bumped into Marcus who was performing after Jan so chatted till he had to get ready on the first song he dedicated Working Class Hero to me by saying "this is for a good friend of mine from Scotland" Chatted to him after his show and he went off to The Cavern so I jut looked around watching John's sister being interviewed etc. Our friends joined us in the evening for the Adelphi Party were we watched Ringer, Pepperland & The Mersey Beatles we chatted till the early hours till they and my Dad went to bed so I stayed and watched a band All You Need Is Love.

Monday

Met up with friends and had a trip on the ferry on The Mersey in the afternoon went to The Cavern watched a few bands then in the evening went to the theatre to watch Gerry & The Pacemakers. Afterwards our friends had to leave so we said oyr goodbyes and went to the VIP Party to watch The Overtures, The Prellies & Rocks Off during the evening again chatted to Marcus then he went to talk to other bands after Rocks Off went to bed. That was BW 2007 over there were other bits I did too but could be here for hours if I did
